Former Playboy Bunnies open up about the late Hugh Hefner in the A&E Network documentary ‘Secrets of Playboy’. The Playboy Bunnies reveal the hard truth about life in the Playboy Mansion in Holmby Hills, Los Angeles, including being forced to take drugs and Hugh Hefner regularly touching the girls while they were under the influence.
Playboy Bunnies Reveal the Hard Truth
Life at the Playboy Mansion wasn’t all glitz and glamour. Terrible things happened to the Playboy Bunnies. Former Playboy Bunny Madison spoke out about the situation after their first time having sex with Hugh Hefner: “I was really disgusted that he didn’t want to use contraception. That really affected me.” Twins Karissa and Kristina Shannon lived at the Mansion for about two years after Hugh Hefner saw a photoshoot of them. They said the following in an interview with ‘The Daily Mirror’: “When the act was over, we started scrubbing our skin with boiling hot water and soap. We were bright red.” The two were also forced to take drugs, after which they had to have sex with Hugh Hefner and other girls. This would make them more ‘relaxed’ during the act. There were also many cameras on the premises and the Playboy Bunnies were bugged. Not a very relaxed life, let’s just say.
Leaving the Playboy Mansion
Leaving the Playboy Mansion was not without its challenges. Madison did not dare to leave the house because she was afraid that Hefner would distribute pornography of her. Madison said: “He had naked pictures of all kinds of women when they were very drunk. It was downright disgusting.” Madison also suffered from Stockholm syndrome, where the victim develops a bond with the perpetrator. Karissa and Kristina also decided to leave the house after two years. They also had to adhere to incredibly strict rules. Everyone had to be home by 9 p.m. and the ladies had to keep track of what they had eaten every day.
