When you think of hamburgers, you often think of Mc’Donalds or Burgering. Still, making your own burgers is much more fun. We will give you a helping hand with a delicious recipe. You might think that burgers come from Hamburg, but that’s not entirely true. This dish originated in the US at the end of the 19th century. It was called ‘Hamburger Steak’ on the menu. Recipe for the most delicious hamburger
You must try this delicious hamburger once. It’s not even difficult to make. Delicious with coleslaw and baked sweet potato with crème fraîche and chives. But how do you make this?
Ingredients
- 2-3 slices of smoked bacon or bacon
- 1 onion chopped
- Unsalted butter
- Olive oil
- Salt and fresh black pepper
- 250 grams of minced beef
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 full tsp granulated sugar
- 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 1 hamburger bun
- 75 g gorgonzola
- Handful of iceberg lettuce
- mayonnaise
- Ketchup
- Baked sweet potato
- 1 large sweet potato
- 2 tbsp creme fraiche
- 1 tbsp fresh chives chopped
Preparation method
- Preheat the oven to 220 degrees. Then prick the sweet potato all over with a fork and then wrap it in aluminum foil. Roast these in the oven for about 45 minutes.
- Now it’s time to fry bacon in the frying pan. Let this drain on kitchen paper.
- Then heat a frying pan and fry the chopped onion with a little salt for 5 minutes.
- Halve your burger bun and spread both sides with butter. Now grill it in the pan on both sides until golden brown.
- Cut the gorgonzola into 2 slices and place on the burger in the pan. Now pour some water into the pan and steam will be created. Now put the lid on so that the gorgonzola melts faster. 10 seconds is really enough!
- Finely chop the iceberg lettuce. The citizen can now be built. Spread the sandwich with mayo and ketchup. Now place the lettuce, burger with gorgonzola, onion mixture, fried bacon and the top of the bun on top.
- Serve the burger with the baked potato and add some crème fraiche with finely chopped chives.
