Drama alert! Rob Goossens drops a bombshell about B&B Vol Liefde-Albert

Albert from B&B Vol Liefde is definitely one of the most talked about participants this season. The lord of the castle, known for his love of tin soldiers, has now really lost his heart to his “puppy” Joyce. But it is not only his search for love that gets tongues wagging. In the BLVD Podcast with Luuk Ikink, Rob Goossens makes a spicy revelation about Albert that leaves everyone in shock.

Rob’s theory

Rob doesn’t hold back when it comes to the lord of the castle from Spain. He even suggests that Albert might be an alcoholic. Wait, what?! “You can’t really say that,” Rob adds, but he voices his suspicions anyway.

‘Albert is an alcoholic’

Luuk Ikink and Rob Goossens discuss Albert’s behavior on the show together and agree that he sometimes comes across as quite clumsy. “He almost pushes that woman into the car when she has to leave,” Luuk notes. Rob adds some spice: “I think Albert is an alcoholic. You can’t really say that, so this will be a libel case. But if you see… I think Albert has sat at breakfast a few times with big black sunglasses on.”

Behavioral change

Rob continues: “Then I thought: He must be hiding something. And you can see in his behavior, as the day progresses, the later it gets, the more unfriendly he becomes.” Whether this theory is true, we don’t know of course, but it certainly makes for some juicy gossip about Albert!

Sudden exit B&B Vol Liefde: where was Albert really?

There is also a lot of speculation about Albert’s sudden departure during the recordings. He indicated that he would take a two-day break to visit his children, but not everyone is convinced of that reason… In RTL Boulevard, Aran Bade shared the speculation about Albert’s departure. “There are rumors that he simply went with Joyce, because she had to leave for her mommy. He is a daddy, right, maybe he just wanted to be her daddy.”

Are you allowed to just leave as a B&B owner?

But is it actually allowed for the B&B owners to just leave the recordings? According to Aran Bade, it is not: “Sandra took that whole flight and thought everything through ten times in her head and then he says: ‘Well, I’m leaving!’ I think the makers were really angry for a moment or at least thought: how are we going to do this?” If you ask us, what Aran describes sounds logical. The program only allows participants to leave if something really bad has happened. So why was Albert allowed to just leave to supposedly be with his children?
