In a response to Hart van Nederland, the housing sector acknowledges the inconvenience and frustration of residents. The statement states that they have “preventively flushed the pipes to prevent inconvenience to residents”. “We have also prepared an emergency measure, which our contractor will deliver next Monday [29 januari, red.] starts,” said the spokesperson.
The housing development promises to improve the sewer pipe and will replace part of it. Although as far as Herman and his wife are concerned it is ‘first seeing, then believing’. Of course, they hope for the best, because: “It really is an untenable situation.”
