Do you ever wonder how a certain cosmetic product came about, whether the product is sustainable or what exactly a certain ingredient does? MijnCosmetica.nl to the rescue, an initiative of the Dutch Cosmetics Association (NCV). This platform promises to become the source of objective cosmetics information.
Since new trends are constantly circulating on the internet and social media, as well as frightening messages about products are shared, the NCV increasingly received questions about cosmetics. Since it is sometimes very difficult to separate fact from fiction, the NCV decided to take action. Through MijnCosmetica.nl, the NCV wants to answer consumer questions about their cosmetics in a transparent and substantiated manner. “NCV employees are inundated with questions about personal care. There was therefore a great need as an organization to create a reliable source of objective information,” shares Ronald van Welie, director of the NCV.
