Lindsay Lohan has made her comeback in Hollywood. The actress will soon star on the silver screen in the film Irish Wish. This very sweet romcom will be released on March 15, but before then Netflix will share the trailer.
The story
The new rom-com we can expect soon is called Irish Wish, and is (not surprisingly) largely set in Ireland. The story follows Maddie, who is played by Lindsay. When the love of her life gets engaged to her best friend, Maddie decides to put her own feelings aside and be a bridesmaid at their wedding in Ireland. A few days before the wedding, Maddie makes a spontaneous wish for true love, and then wakes up as the bride-to-be! But, as her dream seems to come true, Maddie soon realizes that her true soulmate is someone else entirely… Oh my!

Does this make you as excited as we are? Then there is good news: the film will be on Netflix from March 15, and the first images can now be seen. Netflix previously revealed two snapshots of Lindsay in the film on Instagram. In the second photo we saw her together with Ed Speleers, who you may know as Rhys from the fourth season of You. Netflix shared the trailer of the upcoming film last week. And that bodes well.
New movies
The new rom-com is directed by Janeen Damian, and it’s not the first time she and Lindsay have worked together. Janeen previously directed the Christmas film Falling for Christmas, in which Lindsay also played the leading role.
The actress made her long-awaited comeback with Falling for Christmas. More than a year later, we also saw Lindsay briefly appear in the Mean Girls remake, and at the end of this year we can expect her again in a Christmas rom-com: Our Little Secret. But before that happens, let’s first enjoy Irish Wish!
