We don’t see this often from Zara!
Yesterday was of course King Charles’ birthday, and that had to be celebrated with the family. But before Zara and Mike Tindall went to Zara’s uncle’s birthday, Princess Anne’s daughter first made an appearance elsewhere in an outfit that we wouldn’t expect from her anytime soon.
Elegant and glamour
When you think of Zara Tindall, you might think of her sports achievements, Olympic medal, and sweet get-togethers with hubby Mike. But a real glamor lady? Zara isn’t that quick. She is certainly elegant, don’t get us wrong.
The fact remains, however, that we see Zara more often in practical blouse dresses than in glittering dresses. That’s why we think it’s extra fun when Princess Anne’s daughter puts on a healthy dose of sparkle. Like yesterday!
Festive launch
In addition to Zara’s uncle Charles’ birthday, there was another festive event on the agenda earlier in the day. The Australian label Rebecca Vallance launched their holiday collection in the iconic Harrods department store, and this was celebrated with a so-called ‘VIP Breakfast’.

Zara was also present, as can be seen in some attractive photos of the event. For the occasion, la Tindall has said goodbye to her coats, hunting hats and riding leggings, and exchanged it for a daring black dress by (how could it be otherwise) Rebecca Vallance. The festive dress with puff sleeves features a load of pearls and glittering stones along the neck and waist. A look at the label’s website reveals that the Eva Midi Dress (€730, although we’re guessing Zara received it as a gift for the occasion) also has a completely openwork back. Sexy!
Birthday
The dress was clearly popular with Zara. In the evening we see her leaving for Uncle Charles’ house in the same dress. This time the monarch’s niece also wraps herself in a fine long cloak. Such an open back may be very fashionable, but it is not warm!
In further snaps from the Harrods event we see a lot of other celebs shining in all kinds of glamorous creations from the Australian luxury label. Who knows, we may soon see Zara in even more fun glittery dresses from Rebecca Vallance. Fingers crossed!
