Tomorrow evening Máxima will again present the King Willem I Prizes. In this blog you can see what she wore the previous times and what she could possibly wear.
The awards ceremony takes place once every two years. In 2022, Máxima appeared on the scene in a maxi dress by Greek designer Mary Katrantzou. The fabric is inspired by vintage ties.
In 2020 we were in the middle of the corona pandemic. Máxima thought a white blouse and black trousers were festive enough.
In 2018, Máxima skipped once. In 2016 she went for a green top and purple evening skirt from Graciela Naum. A real gala.
In 2014 she appeared on the carpet in a new style. The evening dress with halter collar is a Gucci design.
When I look at the looks above, I don’t really see a line. This is probably due to corona and the associated austerity. Hopefully the queen will pick up the gala thread again tomorrow evening, because a little glitz and glamor is always welcome.
