Will the countess’ shop now have an even more generous edge?
When Countess Eloise announced that she would open a store with pre-loved quality fashion, we wondered whether this would mean that there would soon be bargains from the Oranjes. Now it looks like niece Amalia may have donated one of her dresses!
My Lima Lima
Together with her mother, Princess Laurentien, and good friend Thomas Latcham, the enterprising Countess Eloise opened the doors of her own store at the beginning of this month: My Lima Lima.
The company raises money for charities by selling luxury second-hand clothes and accessories. In November, mother and daughter opened a pop-up store in Scheveningen, and since February 2 you can now go to the Frederikstraat in The Hague for second-hand luxury items for charity.
Royal fashion
A wardrobe like Máxima or Amalia? We can only dream about it. Yet the chance now seems greater than ever that you will be able to get your hands on a dress of the queen or crown princess.
For example, the observant experts behind All Things Amalia have spotted a dress at My Lima Lima that looks very familiar to us! Editor Ella Vermeulen shares a snapshot of the dress on their website. Do you recognize him?
Refresh memory
If you don’t recognize this dress from the photo at the top of this article, here’s a little refresher for your memory:

It is a dark blue dress from LaDress, which the Princess of Orange wore in December 2021 when she was introduced to the Council of State, the day after her eighteenth birthday. She then combined the dress with a warm coat from royal favorite Natan to weather the chilly December weather.
But this LaDress dress is also a great choice for summer, as Amalia proved last year. The dress was then allowed to be taken in the suitcase to the Caribbean, where CA wore the dress during the visit to Curaçao.

Generous edge?
Is this really the dress worn by our crown princess? That is of course not certain. After all, LaDress is a popular brand among royals and non-royals. Stylish, timeless and elegant: we understand that LaDress dresses are still extremely popular, even as second-hand pearls.
Maybe it’s time to plan an afternoon of shopping in The Hague!
