The headlines about Harvey Weinstein (71) don’t stop. The formerly celebrated Hollywood producer has now been behind bars for three years – he was convicted of several sexual assaults in 2020. But even during his prison sentence there was no peace, as several more complaints of rape and abuse followed. Same now: Harvey is being sued again for sexual assault and assault.
This is reported by The Wrap, among others, and refers to a lawsuit that was filed on Tuesday in the Los Angeles court. In this, an unnamed woman accuses the American of abusing her in a hotel in 2013. Harvey lured the plaintiff into his suite and held her captive in the bathroom – there he violently touched her and masturbated. The incident was then covered up by the film mogul’s company.
Harvey’s Management has not yet commented on the allegations. It is the second lawsuit in just a few weeks: an actress had already sued the 71-year-old at the beginning of December – Julia Ormond (58) accuses him of harassing her at a business meeting in 1995 and forcing her to perform oral sex.
