What’s going on there? In just a few days it will finally be that time again: the jungle camp starts on Friday for the next round and the German celebrities can once again prove what they are made of. It seems that the participants will be moving in shortly – at least that’s what influencer Twenty4tim (23) and ex-Are You The One? candidate Kim Virginia Hartung (28) indicate online. In Australia, however, there are currently warnings about a dangerous fire ant infestation. What does this mean for the jungle campers?
Down Under expert Dr. Bob (73) speaks in an interview with RTL Klartext: “Fire ants are among the most poisonous ants in the world. They bite and leave their poison under the skin.” This is extremely painful and can be fatal if you are attacked by several people at once. For Mike Heiter (31), Lucy Diakovska (47) and Co. there is no danger for the time being. “Our nature expert is closely monitoring whether fire ants have settled in the camp area. None have been discovered so far,” explains the Australian paramedic.
According to Bild, production has taken precautions in the event that a candidate is unavailable due to illness. The tabloid claims to have found out that pop star Tim Toupee (52) and model Cathy Lugner (34) are ready to face the snakes and spiders. There has been no confirmation from RTL yet.
