Monica Geuze is seriously dating again
Monica Geuze is probably one of the most desirable women in the media world. Yet she is currently still single, although Monica is active in the dating world. And she certainly scores dates. In the podcast Geuze & Gorgels, which she makes with bestie Kaj Gorgels, she talks about a recent date. This is a nice man, who unfortunately only speaks English with her. But despite this, Monica and her date are having a great time. Initially, they want to meet immediately after the first app traffic. However, in the end they only meet after a week. It starts in a café, but then ends somewhat unexpectedly in Monica’s house. According to her, that was not the intention: “We were actually going to go for a walk, but then it started to rain.” Ah!
By the way, nothing happened there, but the first date leaves you wanting more. Monica and her English-speaking date meet up more often after that, and after a few dates they can’t keep the tension inside. They jump into bed together. Oh la la!

However, this is where the conversation becomes serious. Monica is shocked by that. “My heart is in my throat,” she says in the podcast, because: what is he going to say? Although it was about something different than she probably thought. “I have been suffering from complaints in my genitals since this weekend,” he tells her, after which Monica thought: “Oh…” She said she was very shocked by this. Her date has therefore tested herself and thinks it is nothing. Yet he suggests that she should also take a test. Something she’s definitely thinking about.
Unprotected sex
Monica had unprotected sex six weeks before this date. Oops… “I immediately thought: shit,” she says in the podcast. She thought she was the one who had given him an STD. Maybe it was her date from six weeks ago who had an STD. So Monica went looking for an STD test. She eventually did this at a private clinic, because she felt a bit uncomfortable. “Then you have to pay a lot of money, but you will have the results within two hours,” she says. Before that, she went to her daughter Zara-Lizzy’s Christmas performance. Although she didn’t feel comfortable here at all. “Then you want to enjoy your daughter’s Christmas performance and the only thing going through your mind is: I am very ill and I am poisoning the whole world with my pubic disease,” says Monica. She felt very dirty.
Even though she actually felt no complaints. Yet she became insecure because ‘according to the internet’ an STD in women often turned out to be less noticeable. Fortunately for her, the result of her STD test ultimately turned out to be negative: “So I had nothing.” Her foreign date also did not have venereal disease. “Then he went to the doctor and it turned out to be just an irritation,” she says. After a week it was gone. All’s well that ends well. But it wasn’t really a good time for Monica: “I really just lived in blind panic for 24 hours.”
