Kensington Palace provides update on Kate amid bizarre rumors

The court pours clear wine on the speculations.

She is said to have completely tightened plastically, has cancer like Charles or is even in a coma: there are currently the most bizarre speculations going around about the absence of Princess Kate. And although the court had indicated that it would not make any further statements about her recovery, Kensington Palace now wants to respond to the rumors.

Operation

Kate was last seen on Christmas Day before going under the knife on January 16. The princess had to stay in hospital for almost two weeks and, according to the British royal family, she is now continuing to recover at home. Further details are being kept under wraps by The Firm, but the Highness’s recovery will take at least several weeks. Meanwhile, social media has become a breeding ground for speculation and conspiracy theories.

Speculations

In a viral post on He said this sudden long recovery and lack of information would be suspicious. “You’re telling me that Kate Middleton – the same woman who posed as a supermodel outside the hospital just hours after giving birth – suddenly needs months of recovery before showing her face? And the British press now magically respects her privacy? This is not correct,” the message reads.

Worrying

The Spanish journalist Concha Calleja really got the rumor mill going. She claimed on her TV show that Kate’s condition was more serious than was made public. Calleja claimed to have inside information indicating that Kate’s condition was concerning and she had to be placed in a medically induced coma due to post-surgery complications. Kensington Palace immediately announced that there was no truth in this story, but not everyone is convinced.

Photographers tried their best to spot Kate as she left hospital, but there was no sign of the princess. Not even from family or friends who visited her, except for William. When King Charles had surgery it was a completely different story. Kate’s children and parents have also not been seen since December.

Personal circumstances

The fact that Prince William canceled an important memorial service this week due to ‘personal circumstances’ did not help either. His sudden cancellation raised eyebrows among many royalty connoisseurs. There must be a very good reason for him canceling so abruptly, right? However, there was no mention of the reasons behind Williams’ cancellation.

Kensington Palace

Although Kensington Palace initially indicated that it would not provide any updates on Kate’s recovery, the princess’ spokesperson now cannot ignore it. “Kensington Palace made the timelines of the Princess’ recovery clear in January and we would only provide important updates,” the rep said, stating that Kate is doing well.

With this, Kensington Palace seems to strongly contradict the rumors. Good news, but probably not very satisfying for royal fans, who only want one thing: to see Kate make her public comeback in full regalia. However, we will have to wait a little longer, as the court previously reported that the princess would only resume her royal duties after Easter. Anyway: it is quite reassuring that Kensington Palace at least does not confirm one of the rumors…
