She blew out 56 candles in October, but you wouldn’t say that. Julia Roberts doesn’t seem to age. And she is also one of the few Hollywood stars who has not gone under the knife. Once she decided to give botox a try, but that didn’t work out well. “I looked permanently surprised for a few months, it wasn’t a good look for me,” she once said.

But what does the actress do to look so good? Not much, she tells Vogue UK. “My parents both have very good genes,” she says. But living a happy life is also important, according to her. “I often say it as a joke, but I really believe in the love of a good man. I believe that my husband loves and cares about me in a way that truly makes me very happy. And if someone is happy, it doesn’t matter how old they are.”
Wise words
Julia still lives by the wise words of the French actress Anouk Aimée. “She told me once, years ago when I was very young and didn’t know I would ever have a wrinkle, ‘You live your face in your life until you’re fifty, and then you live your life on your face.’” That’s how it is.
