From culinary hotspot to fantastic dance spectacle: you don’t want to miss this.
After a nice long weekend of enjoying the sun, the next few days look a little less summery. But that doesn’t mean you have to be bored this weekend! Glamial lists the best tips for you.
Let yourself be seduced by The Siren
At Glamial we don’t mind a little decadence. More is more, right? The new culinary hotspot The Siren, which opened its doors last week on the brand new Rokin boulevard, fits in well with this.
The Siren introduces guests to the exuberant opulence, extravagance and excellent cuisine that the Mediterranean region has to offer. A tempting range of dishes from Spain, France, Italy and Greece are served within a completely unique concept where service, ambiance and quality come first. Whether you enjoy a relaxing lunch of oysters and raw fish, or dance the night away to the sounds of live music and DJs; no one can resist the call of The Siren. You can reserve your table here.
Travel in style with AY Studios
With the summer holidays on the horizon, this is the time to treat yourself to a nice new bag, right? And if such a new accessory has a sustainable edge, that is of course a bonus. AY Studios, formerly known as James Ay, recently unveiled a brand new collection of bags made from recycled nylon. These bags are not only intended for adventurers, but also for environmentally conscious travelers who strive for a sustainable future. Moreover, these of course match perfectly with the stylish AY Studios sunglasses.
These durable bags also have several handy compartments to store all your essentials, and they are available in various handy sizes and timeless colors. In short: a real must-have for all your holiday plans!
Enjoy Edward Scissorhands in Carré
Edward Scissorhands is of course an absolute classic. But next week you can enjoy this story like never before: choreographer Matthew Bourne has transformed the modern fairy tale into a fantastic dance spectacle.
From Wednesday 29 May to Sunday 2 June, the British top choreographer and his talented dance company, New Adventures, will return to Carré to bring this special story to life with a dazzling ballet show. After sold-out performances in America, Australia, Korea and Japan, the fairytale now finally arrives in Amsterdam. There are still tickets available at the moment, but don’t wait too long to plan a visit. Several shows are already (almost) sold out! Here you can find more information about the show and order your own tickets immediately.
Viewing tips
Would you rather stay indoors to avoid the showers? Then get the popcorn ready! Plenty of fun stuff dropped on our favorite streaming services last week, and there’s even more fun planned for the coming days!
The American version of The Golden Bachelor was released today on Videoland. It was recently announced that this show is also coming to the Netherlands, but until then, you can first enjoy these episodes.
Would you rather go for a healthy dose of aristocratic drama? Then you’re in the right place with the feature film Tulip Fever, which will be released on Netflix on Saturday. For a good dose of adventure, you can go to Netflix from tomorrow, where the film Atlas will be released, starring none other than Jennifer Lopez.
More in the mood for a musical party? HBO Max will air the Gaga Chromatica Ball, a concert recording of Lady Gaga’s concert at Dodger Stadium, starting Saturday.
So there will certainly be no boredom this weekend!
