The couple is preparing for a huge wedding.
Last fall, the Sultan of Brunei, Hassanal Bolkiah, announced that his son, Prince Mateen, would be married this year. In the run-up to the festivities, the prince himself shared a beautiful photo with his bride-to-be!
Prince Charming
He is often dressed in expensive suits, poses with expensive cars, is as trained as he is true to his royal duties, and he regularly shares special photos of his life on Instagram. It will therefore not surprise you that the Brunei prince Mateen is an absolute prince dream for many ladies. For a long time he was one of the most eligible bachelors in the world, but last October there was the official announcement of his engagement. The court announced that he would tie the knot with his great love, Anisha Rosnah Adam, in January 2024.
The two have reportedly been together for some time – Anisha has been spotted at family events more often in recent times. As the daughter of one of Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah’s counselors and sister of one of Mateen’s close friends, she had naturally belonged to the inner circle at court for some time. She would also be a good match for the young prince in terms of her enterprising character.

Grand wedding
The couple has a packed schedule in the coming weeks. While for many people planning a one-day wedding is quite a challenge, Mateen and Anisha are preparing for more than a week of wedding festivities. The festivities should start on January 7 and last more than ten days. The Islamic wedding ceremony will take place on January 11, and the reception will be three days later on January 14. On January 15 there will be a grand banquet for the invited guests. That promises something!
