‘She is the ideal representative!’
After a lot of medical problems, Princess Charlene is finally doing well again. She appears more and more often at all kinds of events in Monaco, and seems to enjoy it too! Now her own charity has announced that the princess will take on an important new role.
Fondation Princesse Charlène
A bit of a royal has a variety of charities, charities and patronages on the royal CV. So does Her Serene Highness, of course. Through her Fondation Princesse Charlène de Monaco, she is involved in, among other things, improving swimming skills and water safety among younger generations. She is also committed to all kinds of projects in the field of sports and health.
With an enthusiastic announcement, her Fondation shared yesterday that the princess can now add another impressive organization to her charitable list. It was revealed that Char is now the honorary chairman of Pink Ribbon Monaco!

With a snapshot of the princess, the organization explains in detail how the choice for the highness was made. It reads: “Charlene’s commitment to the purpose of her fund is exactly in line with Pink Ribbon Monaco’s health values, making her an ideal representative for women’s health.”

Of course, such an impressive new title as honorary chairman also means that we expect Charlene to attend all kinds of Pink Ribbon events in the near future. And if there’s one thing Monaco is a fan of (besides very expensive designer dresses and private yachts), it’s a good gala. In the context of utile dulci, the organization is already hinting at one such event where the princess may make an appearance.
“This announcement is all the more important as we are just weeks away from hosting the organization’s highly anticipated fundraising gala and auction at the illustrious Monte Carlo Casino.”
Galas and charities – in Monaco they go hand in hand. Hopefully an appropriate pink designer dress will also be pulled out of the closet on this occasion!
