Judith Rakers (48) is calling it quits! The presenter has been a regular host on the Tagesschau since 2005. It can be seen in the main edition at 8 p.m. since 2008. But she also appears in front of the camera as a spokesperson for the programs “Tagesthemen”, “Morgenmagazin” and “Mittagsmagazin”. But after almost 20 years I would like to Judith reorientate something professionally – and turns his back on the “Tagesschau”!
As the Norddeutscher Rundfunk now officially announces in a press release, they want to Judith From now on, she will focus more on her entrepreneurial activities: “After 19 successful and exciting years at tagesschau, it is with a heavy heart that I have decided to leave. It is time to focus my life on other projects.” She wants to tackle new things for which there hasn’t been enough time in addition to the news shift.
However, the fans don’t have to stop completely on TV Judith waive. She will remain with audiences as the presenter of the talk show “3nach9” and the ARD travel magazine “Wunderschön”.
