What a coincidence!
The moment K3’s Kathleen left her fellow K3’s Karen and Kristel was now fifteen years ago, and all three ladies now lead completely different lives. Kathleen has lived in South Africa for years, so the chance that a former colleague would encounter her in Belgium was virtually impossible. And yet it happened! On Instagram, Kristel and Kathleen share sweet photos of their unexpected reunion.
Unexpected meeting
“Look who I met very unexpectedly in Antwerp yesterday. Unbelievable!”, Kathleen writes on Instagram with a photo with Kristel. “What a warm reunion! I still love you, Kristel.”

Reunion in South Africa
Although Kathleen has lived in South Africa since 2015, where she runs a guesthouse, there have been more reunions between the original K3s in recent years. On New Year’s Day this year, Kathleen shared a series of snaps with Karen, who visited her at her new home.

Masked Singer reunion
In 2020, Masked Singer viewers witnessed another touching reunion. Kathleen then participated as a surprise in the Belgian version of the program, where Karen was on the jury.
The unmasking naturally resulted in many tears and hugs. We vote for more of these reunions, and then with the entire group!
