The Australian actress may be over 50, but she is still spotted in outfits that leave little to the imagination. Last weekend she appeared in a controversial dress from Atelier Versace at the New York premiere of her new Amazon Prime series Expats.
And she has no plans to stop doing that anytime soon, because others have an opinion about it. “I make remarkable and crazy fashion choices. I call it teenage choices because I don’t think about the consequences,” she explains. “Others often have to warn me about the consequences of my choices, because my brain just doesn’t think about them that way.”
Opinion of others
Nicole explains that she bases her clothing choices on how she feels, and not on what others may think. “And I would like to keep it that way, because otherwise I will worry about the opinions of strangers,” she says. “I also emphatically ask people not to say what they think about it, because I don’t want to know. It will only make me adapt.”
Real beauty
An insider tells Daily Mail: “She thinks it’s important that women are proud of their bodies. She is not ashamed of it and laughs about the criticism she receives for her daring choices. She shows what beauty really is and that you don’t have to be 20 to be sexy.”
