On the slopes in Winter full of Love, Edith and Mike finally have some quality time. If Mike wants to become Edith’s partner, he also needs to work on his skiing skills. That’s why she’s happy to help him with that! However, it turns out that he is not exactly a natural talent. His adventures in the snow therefore provide a number of hilarious TV fragments (and a dent in his big ego). Already the TV moment of the year!
Edith and Mike in Winter full of Love
Previously, viewers of Winter full of Love had nothing to do with the single Mike, who came across as rather unsympathetic. But in the latest episode on TV, Mike provides a lot of laughing viewers. Although it is admittedly gloating. Now that Mike has lasted longer in the reality program, apartment manager Edith thinks it’s time for a ski lesson. If Mike really becomes her partner, he will have to work on his skiing skills. She likes to compete on the slopes.
However, skiing turns out to be no easy task for Mike, even though he thinks otherwise. It is therefore a good idea for Edith to start on the baby track. Whether Mike wants it or not. “I see the danger, but I’m not afraid of it,” Mike says. It also irritates him a bit that Edith constantly tells him what to do. Although the instructions appear to be necessary. For example, he maneuvers rather wobbly in a pizza slice between posts. But he is standing! Still…
Skiing for beginners
Mike’s ego is a lot bigger than his skiing skills, says a viewer on social media channel X. The viewer is right, because Mike keeps bumbling on the slopes. At a certain point we simply lose count, so many times Mike falls with his nose and knees in the snow. The viewers are completely devastated by the bumbling Mike:
Mike pretends to be an accomplished skier at the top of the slopes, but goes down like a wet newspaper. I laughed so hard here! #winterfulllove

It seems hilarious to me if the overconfident I-know-everything-better Mike is your boss and you see him going off on the slopes 😂 #winterfulllove

That Mike…. his ego is a lot bigger than his skiing skills.🤣 #winterfulllove

And #Mike but I think it’s the red gypsy pants that would make him look like an idiot on the slopes 😏🤣 #winterfulllove pic.twitter.com/G0FaoJbyfn

No butterflies
The many falls not only dent Mike’s body, but also his ego. “When I came down the mountain – it was a pain to get here – I walked with my soul under my arm. Literally,” he says afterwards. “It was very painful, but okay. Your ego is also damaged.”
Fortunately, the date in the snow was a great date, according to Mike. Unfortunately, he doesn’t get certain feelings afterwards, even when they are sitting together on a remote bench. “It really should have happened now,” he says to the camera. “So I think it’s a bit of a setback for myself.” Edith’s feelings for Mike have also changed. “I was like: you should come,” she responds. “But he doesn’t. The butterflies have flown that way.”
#winterfulllove What? Does Mike now get demerits because he can’t ski? He got plus points from me for self-confidence! It made me laugh so much 🤣
