The storyline of Nobody Wants This
In the Netflix series Nobody Wants This we follow Joanne (Kristen Bell), who has a podcast with her sister in which literally everything is discussed openly and honestly by the ladies. During an evening at a mutual friend’s house, Joanne and Noah (Adam Brody) meet, and sparks immediately fly off the screen. The two fall madly in love, but this is not without its share of bumps. Noah recently ended his relationship and is on his way to becoming Chief Rabbi. Joanne has special traits and tries hard to hide them from Noah. Additionally, Joanne is not Jewish, something that is a big issue for the Jewish community and Noah’s family.
Why Nobody Wants This is so loved
The series, unlike some rom-coms, is super realistic. The recognizable obstacles that the two try to overcome and Joanne’s thoughts provide a lot of recognition among viewers. The first time you meet your in-laws, the insecurities you experience as husband and wife when you date someone who blows your mind, and the perfect picture you want to show to impress. This recognition, the uncomfortable situations and the romantic scenes make Nobody Wants This an irresistible Netflix series that you want to binge-watch in one day.
The first kiss in Nobody Wants This
In the first season of the series, we as viewers are surprised with the best first kiss ever. The directors have given the couple a piece of their mind regarding Noah’s first kiss to Joanne. The script only stated that Noah had to give Joanne the best kiss either of them, and if you saw the scene, you know that they certainly succeeded.
Possible second season coming
Good news for anyone who is as much of a fan of Nobody Wants This as we are: there is already talk of a possible second season of the series.
