The Spanish National Day was a bit of a disaster last Saturday. As well as the visit of King Frederik and Queen Mary to the town of Holstebro, which is celebrating its 750th anniversary. Yet both ladies managed to shine in their colorful autumn outfits.
In Spain it was National Day on Saturday. Infanta Sofia was not there this time. She is in Wales for her studies. Princess Leonor was present, of course in uniform. The rain threw quite a bit of a spanner in the water. Fortunately for the royal party, they were left dry for part of the program. But that wasn’t the case for many other people. It’s always a shame when such a beautiful day falls through the cracks. During the reception, Letizia’s dress is more visible.
Queen Letizia managed to brighten things up with her red dress from Poète. Outside she wore her beige trench coat from Hugo Boss.
Red pumps from Margit and a red bag from Olivia Mareque complete the picture.
The earrings from Aldao Yojeros are also beautiful.
Mary
King Frederik and Queen Mary were not so lucky either during their visit to Holstebro. Holstebro has been around for 750 years and that is being celebrated. Despite the rain and umbrellas, Mary looked cheerful and colorful. Mary wore her dark red floral dress from Saloni with a colorful orange coat from MaxMara. Her dark red boots are from Aquazzura and the red headband with sequins is a design by Jane Taylor.
