We all know that Princess Margriet regularly likes to have gala dresses designed by Addy van den Krommenacker. In this blog we will show his dresses. But… who else does she shop with? Moderator Petra delved into the subject and will update you in this blog.
Addy van den Krommenacker
Princess Margriet in a brocade embroidered dress, a design by Addy van den Krommenacker.
This dress was worn by Princess Margriet during the evening program on April 30, 2013. She then wore the dress a number of times.

Princess Margriet also regularly wears a creation by Addy van den Krommenacker at the Peter Stuyvesant Ball. This also applies to the blue dress below.
This dress with flowers and a lace top is also a design by Addy. Margriet wore the dress at the gala dinner for the Diplomatic Corps in 2019.

A fun family outing: the Addy van den Krommenacker fashion show. Princess Margriet went there with her daughter-in-law and her niece. All three ladies dressed in an outfit by Addy van den Krommenacker.

Every year, Princess Margriet and Princess Laurentien attend the presentation of the ECF Princess Margriet awards. In 2017, Princess Margriet wore a red lace dress by Addy van den Krommenacker.
Clar Crul
Claar Crul is the one who regularly made smock dresses for Princess Margriet’s granddaughters when they were still small. She was allowed to work for Princess Margriet before the inauguration. She is the one who made the mint green dress with a leaf pattern that Princess Margriet wore at the Inauguration Ceremony in the Nieuwe Kerk in Amsterdam on April 30, 2013.

Edouard Vermeulen
Even Princess Margriet has worn clothes by Edouard Vermeulen from fashion house Natan. The festive deux pieces that she wore during the celebration of her 65th birthday were made by him. Princess Margriet celebrated her birthday together with the then Queen Beatrix. Nice to see the sisters enjoying themselves together.

Didi
It is perhaps known that Princess Margriet does not have all her clothes made, but also regularly wears something from the clothing racks of clothing chains. A number of years ago I wrote a blog on my own website about Princess Margriet in trousers and a cardigan from Didi.

LaDress
To our great surprise, we saw Princess Margriet during the Introdans celebration of her 80th birthday in Theater Orpheus in Apeldoorn, wearing a dress from La Dress.

We were particularly surprised because Princess Amalia also wore this dress.

Princess Margriet wore the dress again during the final of the Princess Christina Classis Competition in Amare in The Hague.

Various fashion houses
Princess Margriet also likes to visit certain fashion houses to browse the racks. For example, she has been spotted by clients at Modehuis Kuijt in Kootwijkerbroek and at Moq exclusive women’s fashion. If she comes across something nice, she tries everything on.

Frans Molenaar
Frans Molenaar himself reportedly said that he created about 35 outfits for Princess Margriet. Unfortunately, we don’t know exactly what they are. However, it has been confirmed that the brown Prince’s Day dress that Princess Margriet wore in 2001 was his design.
Marianne Jongkind
Marianne Jongkind is a Dutch hat designer who often collaborates with well-known Dutch designers. For example, she worked with the late Frans Molenaar and the late Edgar Vos. She also worked with Frank Govers, Frans Hoogendoorn and Mart Visser.
Princess Margriet first wore this brown hat on Prince’s Day 2001 (see also the photo above). Marianne Jongkind was commissioned in collaboration with Frans Molenaar, who designed the Prince’s Day dress. The hat came into focus again at a commemoration ceremony in the Forest of the Unyielding in Almere, no less than 20 years later.

Sils Jewels and Miccy’s
We’ll go back to this outfit again. Princess Margriet regularly wears earrings from Sils Jewels and Miccy’s. The earrings in the photo below are from Sils Jewels. The handmade earrings are made of brown/black horn, finished with gold plated hoop earrings.

In 2021, Princess Margriet was a guest editor for Margriet magazine. In 1 of the photos you see Princess Margriet with the zebra earrings from Sils Jewels.
This week Princess Margriet is guest editor-in-chief of weekly magazine Margriet. In addition to an interview with the Princess, attention will be paid to the recent working visit to SOS Children’s Villages in Austria, the Princess Margriet chair and photos from the private album. https://t.co/SvrZTXOTSZ pic.twitter.com/irfZYc04Yh
