Time for a visit?
Things haven’t been easy for the Middleton family lately. In addition to Princess Kate’s serious diagnosis, parents Carole and Michael had to deal with a lot of bad news about their company Party Pieces. Now, however, Prince William’s in-laws have launched a new venture, and it’s something the general public can enjoy!
Bucklebury Farm
The Middleton family has been based in Berkshire for many years. Princess Kate, daughter Pippa, and son James grew up here. Since 2012, Carole and Michael have been the proud owners of Bucklebury Manor, a historic property in beautiful surroundings including a deer park and a small coffee house.
Pippa and her husband, businessman James Matthews, also own an impressive estate nearby: the picturesque Bucklebury Farm. They have now announced via Instagram that the spacious lodge on the site is opening its doors to the general public!
Car visit
The lodge, which is fully equipped, can now be booked for ‘parties, corporate events, yoga sessions, pilates, and much more’, the caption of the snapshots reads.

Moreover, the first customer would have already reported to James and Pippa. None other than brother James Middleton would have gratefully used the log cabin to shoot images for his own company, the dog food brand Ella & Co. Those Middletons are clearly not sitting still!
Pippa and James live with their family about twenty minutes away from the piece of land, in an impressive villa. Michael and Carole Middleton would also be just over two miles from the new lodge. So you could easily encounter them during a walk through the green surroundings!
Setbacks
Of course, Pippa and James did not get that enterprising spirit from a stranger. Materfamilias Carole founded the party supplies company Party Pieces in the late 1980s. This was the pride and joy of the entire family for a long time, until last year it turned out that the company was completely bankrupt.
Earlier this year, the parents of the Princess of Wales received even more bad news: Party Pieces was so deeply in debt that even the consultants who had to guide them through bankruptcy could whistle for their money.
For example, The Times wrote: “The company Interpath Advisory discovered that Party Pieces’ bankruptcy took more hours than necessary to meet legal requirements and requests from creditors. Interpath has been paid £51,437 in bills and, although more will be paid in due course, it has been determined that the full bill will not be paid.” Aiii…
Hopefully the Middleton brood can support their parents with their own ventures!
