Ben and Alice were good friends in college. The two meet again at a wedding. They are in their 20s and both single. Their friends get married like crazy. The film follows Samir, he wants to become a musician and tries to get into a music school. He obtains his pre-university education diploma and starts a relationship with classmate Eveline. The film tells the love story of Samir and Eveline. Meanwhile, you also get to see that Samir struggles with the environment in which he grew up. Sounds serious but is really funny.
2. Hartenstraat
Both Daan and Katje have a shop in Hartenstraat. Other than that they don’t have much in common. Katje (what’s in a name) comes across as catty and blunt. Daan is actually very warm-hearted. The two don’t match and hate each other. However, they are both looking for love. The film also follows other funny love stories in the meantime. You watch Hartenstraat on Netflix.
3. Meskina
The film Meskina can be seen on Netflix. Meskina is about thirtysomething Leyla who is trying to find her way in love. Despite all her family’s expectations to get married quickly, she does not rush it. During her search, many things go wrong, putting her in difficult but hilarious situations.
