New official portraits have just been released on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the reign of King Willem-Alexander. The photos were taken at the beginning of September by Anton Corbijn in the Gallery Hall of Noordeinde Palace.
The queen wears a robe with a richly embroidered bodice and a flared skirt with tulle Frou-Frou. You may recognize him from the state visit to Belgium in June 2023.
In terms of jewelry, the queen wears the largest diadem in the jewelry vault. It concerns the so-called Stuart diadem, but without the impressive Stuart diamond of almost 40 carats. If you look closely, you will also see the base wrapped in fabric (or real hair?). This prevents the jewel from cutting too much into the scalp.
