How Harry’s underwear sold for 230,000 euros

That Las Vegas adventure has gotten a special ending.

Although Prince Harry’s wild Las Vegas stories have been circulating for years, they have recently resurfaced in the media. This came after ex-stripper Carrie Royale claimed she had exclusive nude photos of the prince in her possession. But it didn’t stop there. The underwear that Harry reportedly lost during that infamous night was also sold for no less than 230,000 euros. Wow!

Wild night in 2012

It was that infamous night in 2012 that will forever be remembered. Prince Harry lost all his clothes during a game of strip billiards, then ran naked through the tent, danced with strippers and played a game of air guitar with a billiard cue. Yes, true story.

Ex-stripper Carrie Royale also claims to have been present during that wild night. For example, she is said to have taken Harry’s missing underpants and kept them all this time, until she offered the princely pants at an auction in 2022. Strip club owner Dino Palmiotto managed to get his hands on the underpants for no less than 230,000 euros. A very expensive piece of underwear, right?

‘Underpants Altar’

The strip club owner had big plans for the boxer shorts at the time. For example, he planned to exhibit the underpants in his club through a kind of altar. He hoped this would attract more British tourists. “I estimate there are about a million British people, or people with British ancestry, here in California and they would love to see the underpants,” he shared at the time. And if Harry and Meghan were interested, they were more than welcome to see the underwear again after all these years, he said.

However, a small search through the endless scantily clad ladies on the best man’s Instagram account does not yield any snapshots of this altar.

Memento

“An altar in my club is the perfect home for the underpants. It will always be part of Prince Harry’s story and part of history. That man is a hero and an icon, just like his wife,” Palmiotto revealed at the time.

Of course, there were also some negative reactions to the strip club owner’s plans. For example, some would find it disrespectful to hang up the prince’s underpants in a strip club. Palmiotto responded: “It’s a reminder of the time he loved parties so much, and that’s okay. Nowadays Harry is more serious and there is nothing wrong with that. People grow up; that’s life. But who wouldn’t want a reminder of their younger self when all they thought about was having fun?”
