Petra was determined to find her prince charming during her adventure during the recording of B&B Vol Liefde. Although they seemed to click at first, the romance they gained was short-lived. In an interview with De Telegraaf, Petra looks back on that time and explains how her love life is going now.
Petra <3 Hans
After announcing in November 2022 that they would be living together in France, Petra moved in with Hans. Unfortunately, their lives didn’t work out so well together and after a few months they announced their break-up. “Living together was simply too complicated for us. Hans and I didn’t bring out the best in each other.”

Petra is still good friends with Hans, despite the difficult road to get there. “The road to this friendship was turbulent, a lot has happened. But Hans has always kept in touch and I really appreciate that about him.” Petra no longer has contact with the other girls in the program. Instead of making new friends, she focuses on her family and old friends.
Does Petra have a new love?
Since her adventure in B&B Vol Liefde, Petra has put her dating life on hold. At the moment she is not actively looking for love and is enjoying some time for herself after her time in France with Hans. “I really needed time to recover after my time with Hans.” Petra appreciates her time alone and is now happy with Finn, her sweet Jack Russell Terrier.
Enjoy B&B Vol Liefde for nine weeks
The fourth season of the summer hit B&B Vol Liefde is just around the corner and promises to be an epic adventure! Eight single B&B owners are looking for love again, but this time we get even more to enjoy. Instead of seven weeks, we can enjoy this wonderful reality program for nine weeks. How cool is that? The time has come from July 15th. This year we can again experience the exciting adventures of the B&B owners from Monday to Thursday at 8:30 PM. Last year the program lasted ‘only’ seven weeks and the episodes were broadcast from Monday to Friday. But hey, who complains about extra viewing pleasure? We can’t wait.
