Who would have expected that? Pension Code Rosé in Noordwijk, which has only been up and running for a year, is again being put up for sale by the Meilandjes. Martien has placed an advertisement on Instagram that immediately links you to the real estate agent who will market the guesthouse.
Heavy work
Why do they want to get rid of the boarding house? Well, apparently they just find the work too hard. Martien himself says that he won’t really miss it once it’s sold. “No, it was fun,” Erica says to RTL Boulevard. It seems like getting up early is one of the things they’re kind of fed up with. “But seriously, getting up at half past six for weeks on end just wears you out.” Erica continues: “It was just too much work. Everything went according to plan until we found a buyer.” And do they already have a new adventure planned? “Nah, not really, just moving privately next year.”
Asking price
What is the asking price? No idea yet. Pension Code Rosé is not yet live on the broker’s website, so we have to be patient. According to De Telegraaf, that real estate agent in Noordwijk was not available for comment.
To meet the Meilandjes or not?
On Instagram, fans of the Meilandjes who had already booked are wondering whether they will still meet the family when they stay at Code Rosé. Well, who knows? You can still make reservations on the Code Rosé website until December 2024.

The Meiland family bought the building at the end of 2022 for a hefty 1.5 million euros and immediately named it Code Rosé. But a day before the grand opening, they were told by the municipality of Noordwijk that they were not allowed to receive guests.
