Music with a royal touch: this leaves you wanting more…
Our patience is almost at an end and that is a good thing, because in about two weeks the Videoland series Máxima will finally be shown. We have known for a while now that Krezip is responsible for the music, and the band is now sharing a small taste of it.
20th of April
Now that we’ve watched every season of The Crown, we’re ready for our next dose of royal drama. And it arrives on Saturday April 20 in the form of the Videoland original Máxima. From then on, an episode will be shown every week.

In case you missed the news about this series, a little refresher: the series is based on the book Motherland: The Early Years of Máxima Zorreguieta by Marcia Luyten, and tells the story of Máxima’s life – from her younger years in Argentina until her current life as Queen of the Netherlands. The starting point of the series is the first meeting of Máx and Willem-Alexander in 1999. And it looks like this:

A series naturally includes a title song, and none other than Krezip has the honor of creating it. The song is called Tomorrow Starts Today. “It was wonderful to get into Máxima’s shoes and translate her feelings and emotions through our music,” singer Jacqueline Govaert said earlier.
It didn’t stop at just a title song. Krezip has written several songs for the series. The band is now sharing a small preview of one of those singles.

“Our new single ‘Attention’ will be released on Thursday April 11!”, Krezip writes with the video. “This song is part of our album ‘Music for Máxima’ that we made for the new series ‘Máxima’.”
This sneak peek already sounds good to us, so we are very curious about all the songs that were made for the series!
