Crackers with holes

You’ve probably noticed that crackers always have small holes in them. This is not intended as a beautiful design, but has a practical reason. Thanks to these holes, the cracker does not break during baking.

Floating egg

Do you want to know if you can still eat an egg? Then put the egg in a glass of water. If the egg floats, it is no longer edible. The older an egg is, the more gases accumulate in it. So you ideally want your egg to sink to the bottom of the glass. If it floats in the middle of the water, the egg is still edible, but not for long.

Eating tomatoes helps against the sun

Do you turn as red as a tomato in the summer? Then eating tomatoes helps protect you from the sun. Tomatoes contain lycopene. This substance protects the skin against UV radiation. If you’re not a fan of raw tomatoes, it doesn’t matter, tomato sauce, juice and tomato soup also protect you from the sun. Of course, don’t forget to apply sunscreen.

How old is a pineapple?!

Does nutmeg get you stoned?

Pay attention to how much nutmeg you sprinkle on your food next time. If you eat too much nutmeg, you will end up stoned. Nutmeg is no competition for weed. It takes up to five hours to get stoned.
