‘Everyone is participating again!’
Very big news for fans of the Gooische Vrouwen series yesterday. It was then officially confirmed that the legendary series will return soon. And as if that wasn’t fun enough, Linda de Mol already gave us a little glimpse of what we can expect!
Hit series returns
For five seasons we were able to enjoy the ups and downs of Cheryl (Linda de Mol), Claire (Tjitske Reidinga), Anouk (Susan Visser), Willemijn (Annet Malherbe), and Roelien (Lies Visschedijk). From romance to bombings and from designer shoes to very expensive villas: we thoroughly enjoyed the original series.
We couldn’t believe our luck when Talpa officially confirmed yesterday that the hit series is returning! “In collaboration with Videoland, we are working on a new season of the hit series Gooische Vrouwen, based on an idea by Linda de Mol and directed by Will Koopman. After the enormous success of the TV series and two record-breaking cinema films, the four popular friends from Het Gooi will shine on the small screen again at the end of 2024,” the company told RTL Boulevard.
‘Very happy’
Director Will Koopman has already stated that she is overjoyed with the return of the series. “I’m really looking forward to it. We are working on the scripts now. The old feeling comes back,” she shared with the ANP when asked. That bodes well!
Linda de Mol goes a little further and even reveals some details about the cast of the reboot. “I’m really looking forward to playing next year with Susan, Tjitske, Lies and Will, who also turned out to be true friends in real life,” she tells her own magazine.
She continues: “Will Koopman will again take charge and everyone will participate again. All four Gooische Vrouwen, Martin Morero, Aunt Cor, Doctor Rossi, Yari…” We can’t wait now!
Patience
However, we don’t have to prepare the popcorn and rosé right away. The series is currently being worked hard. The eight episodes should be available on Videoland at the end of 2024. Oh well, patience is a virtue – and the series will undoubtedly be worth it!
