All eyes are on Aaron Taylor-Johnson.
Over the years, six different actors have played the coveted role of James Bond. Daniel Craig was the most recent, and ever since he announced that No Time to Die would be his final film, there has been intense speculation about who the next Bond will be. And of course we at the Glamial editorial team participate in this.

Quite a few actor names have been discussed recently when speculating about the next James Bond. A big favorite was Idris Elba, but he has already confirmed that he will not do it. Bond producer Barbara Broccoli stated: “We love Idris. The thing is, it will take a few years. And when we cast Bond, it’s a ten, twelve year commitment,” she recently explained to Variety. “So he’s probably thinking, ‘Do I really want that?’ Not everyone wants to do that. It was hard enough to get Daniel (Craig, ed.).”

In addition to Idris Elba, quite a few names have been mentioned. Regé-Jean Page, Cillian Murphy, Paul Mescal and Sam Heughan, among others, passed by. Yet it seems that none of these men will be the next James Bond. All arrows are now pointed at Tenet-actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson. The Sun recently wrote that he has received an official offer for the role of the secret agent. “As far as Eon is concerned, Aaron will sign his contract in the coming days and they can start preparing for the big announcement,” the British newspaper said.
Last week, Aaron was asked if he would like the role of James Bond. “I find it charming and wonderful that people see me in that role,” he replied at the time. “I consider it a great compliment.”
Although it is not yet one hundred percent certain, we estimate the chance that Aaron Taylor-Johnson will soon be officially announced as the seventh James Bond actor is quite high. In doing so, he would follow in the footsteps of Sean Connery, George Lazenby, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, Pierce Brosnan and Daniel Craig. And after seeing Aaron’s photos, we certainly wouldn’t mind!
