Of course, the trend has now been given a new look, but the characteristics remain largely the same: many layers and structures, and often a messy fringe.

Different face shapes and hair textures
Hairstylist Marissa Pronk tells Libelle that the shaggy haircut works best on someone with an oval, round or angular face shape. “This hairstyle provides a camouflaged frame for your face.” Different hair textures can work well with this hairstyle. “If your hair is naturally straight and… sleek is, you have to use some more tools.”
Styling
The biggest advantage of this hairstyle is that you can create different looks with it. Classic, cool, feminine: you can go in any direction with it. “You can style it a bit more chicly with a round hairdryer brush and some wax,” says Marissa. A nice flexible haircut, but if you prefer not to do anything to your hair every day, it might be better to go for a different hairstyle.
