Another love story comes to an end…
Another royal fairy tale has come to an end. Peter Philips, Princess Anne’s eldest son, appears to have ended his relationship with Lindsay Steven. The couple has been together for four years.
Parting
Peter Philips married Canadian Autumn in 2008, whom he met five years earlier at the Grand Prix in Montreal. Together the couple had two daughters, Savannah and Isla. But what seemed like the beginning of a love fairy tale fell apart twelve years later. In 2020, Peter and Autumn divorced. A friend of Peter’s told The Sun at the time that he did not see the divorce coming at all. “He thought he was happily married and had the perfect family with two wonderful daughters. But now he is completely in shock.”
Happy couple
Fortunately, someone soon showed up to ease Peter’s heartbreak. Not long after the divorce, he met Lindsay Steven, a luscious blonde who, according to insiders, was a “breath of fresh air” in his love life. In June 2022 they made their official debut together as a couple at the Epsom Derby. Afterwards, the couple was frequently spotted at all kinds of royal functions, including the platinum anniversary celebrations, Royal Ascot, Wimbledon and the coronation concert in May 2023.
Breakup
The royal relationship now appears to have come to an end. An insider tells Hello! Magazine that the couple had too little time for each other due to various obligations. That ultimately killed the relationship. “It obviously came as a shock because most people thought they were absolutely rock solid,” said a friend of the ex-couple. “It’s very sad. Peter has traveled all over the world and has been incredibly busy and Lindsay is based in Scotland so it has been difficult for them to see each other.”
