The royal scent is still available.
Everyone was pleased with the elegant and charming Princess Diana. A royal lady not only looks beautiful, but also smells decent. The beautiful lady Di had a very nice perfume for this that is also affordable.
Diana’s favorite
Many articles have been written about Princess Diana’s fragrance preferences – some more reliable than others. A passage from her son Prince Harry’s book definitely falls into the reliable category. In his book Spare (translated to Reserve in Dutch), the prince explains which eau de toilette was really his mother’s favorite.
In his book, the Duke of Sussex candidly told how he brought a bottle of Diana’s favorite perfume to a therapy session to help himself through his trauma. “I had checked with my mother’s sister for the name,” he wrote. The fragrance that his mother constantly wore is First by Van Cleef & Arpels. “At the beginning of our session, I opened the bottle and inhaled deeply,” the prince wrote, before comparing the experience to a dose of LSD.
“I remembered a day at Ludgrove (his school, ed.), and Mom hid sweets in my sock. Sweets from outside the school were forbidden, so mom ignored the school rules while giggling, which made me love her even more,” the prince continued his memories of his mother. And so all that was released by one pinch of that perfume.
Affordable perfume
Although the scent is not super cheap, it is one that can be afforded. You can get a 100 milliliter bottle for 75 euros. This is certainly not a budget winner, but you can easily pay double for a more luxurious perfume. Another advantage: you can easily get your hands on the perfume. It is available at Ici Paris XL, Bol.com and many web shops, among others.
The perfume has lasted for a while. It was created in 1976 and is a lovely floral perfume. The fragrance has base notes of oakmoss, amber, chives, honey, sandalwood and vetiver. It has heart notes of rose, carnation, jasmine, orchid, lily of the valley, tuberose and iris. Finally, it contains the top notes of aldehydes, peach, raspberry and hyacinth.
