Easter is the time of new beginnings. The spring sun is slowly but surely showing itself and the flowers are blooming nicely. Time for the annual Easter brunch with friends and family. Is it at your house this year? No stress, we have listed our best tips. This way you will soon be able to effortlessly organize the perfect Easter brunch.
1. Make your Easter table an eye-catcher
The basis of every successful Easter brunch is a perfectly decorated table. For example, consider a light-colored tablecloth and add cheerful Easter decorations, such as felt Easter bunny placemats, colorful napkins and of course the indispensable egg cups. Scatter some Easter eggs around the table and place a nice large vase with a few fresh daffodils in the middle of the table for a real spring atmosphere.
2. Dishes that make everyone happy
An Easter brunch without the right dishes is like Easter without Easter eggs. What is super fun and fun to do is to put different dishes on the table to share. In addition to the classic Easter bread with butter, you can think of:
- Wraps filled with salmon or chicken fillet for a savory craving
- Mini quiches, hot or cold, but both delicious
- Scones with clotted cream and jam
- Small containers of yogurt with granola or muesli and red fruit
- Bowls of fresh fruit for vitamins
- Cinnamon rolls, Easter egg brownies and mini cupcakes like Easter desserts
And to top it all off: mimosas. A glass of bubbly makes every brunch better!
3. The great Easter egg hunt
No Easter brunch is complete without the traditional Easter egg hunt. It’s fun to hide a mix of large and small chocolate eggs, bunnies, etc. When the weather is good you can enjoy working outside, otherwise indoors is also fun. For an extra dimension you can award points to the different eggs. Whoever has collected the most points at the end wins a nice Easter prize, for example a giant chocolate Easter bunny. Guaranteed fun for young and old!
4. Additional tips
- Start your preparations on time. No one wants to start brunch stressed!
- Involve the whole family in the preparations. Make it a joint project and give everyone a task. This way you don’t have to do everything alone and you can have some anticipation.
- Take dietary requirements and allergies into account and ask friends and family in advance. This way you prevent someone from being unable to join you for dinner.
Happy Easter!
