He started the new year so romantically! Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist met and fell in love on The Golden Bachelor. On the dating show, the senior Rosenkavalier even gathered all his courage and asked for his chosen one’s hand in marriage. Since then, the engaged couple’s wedding preparations have been in full swing. Finally the time has come: Gerry and Theresa said yes!
The wedding bells rang for the two of them on January 4th. They tied the knot in the live show “The Golden Wedding” – and the wedding ceremony was really emotional! Theresa praised her loved one as the “most wonderful, kind and sensitive” person. Also Gerry couldn’t stop raving during his wedding vows. “I know that I have found a full-fledged partner with whom I can share all the experiences of life that come our way,” he emphasized.
Just a few days before the big day, Theresa revealed more details about her wedding dress to Hollywood Life. They chose a “modern” piece. However, she unfortunately had to realize that the dress didn’t quite meet her expectations: “It’s not exactly what I had imagined. No, it’s not that. I had a different idea.”
