Lindsay Lohan is back and better than ever. We had to miss the actress for a while, but she has now made her comeback in Hollywood. She will soon star in a new rom-com, and Netflix is now sharing the first images.
Irish Wish
The new film is called Irish Wish, and is (unsurprisingly) largely set in Ireland. The story follows Maddie, who is played by Lindsay. When the love of her life gets engaged to her best friend, Maddie decides to put her own feelings aside and be a bridesmaid at their wedding in Ireland. A few days before the wedding, Maddie makes a spontaneous wish for true love, and then wakes up as the bride-to-be! But, as her dream seems to come true, Maddie soon realizes that her true soulmate is someone else entirely… Oh my!
First images
We have good news: the film will be on Netflix from March 15, and the first images can now be seen. On Instagram, Netflix has already revealed two snapshots of Lindsay in the film. In the second photo we see her together with Ed Speleers, who you may know as Rhys from the fourth season of You. A potential love interest perhaps…?

On X, Netflix also gives a little sneak peek, with a photo in which we see Lindsay lying on the floor amid all the chaos during the wedding. That promises a lot of drama, hilarity, and of course hopefully… love!

First
The new rom-com is directed by Janeen Damian, and it’s not the first time she and Lindsay have worked together. Janeen previously directed the Christmas film Falling for Christmas, in which Lindsay also played the leading role.
The actress made her long-awaited comeback with Falling for Christmas. More than a year later, we also saw Lindsay briefly appear in the Mean Girls remake, and at the end of this year we can expect her again in a Christmas rom-com: Our Little Secret. But before that happens, let’s first enjoy Irish Wish!
