She still remembers it well. Princess Eugenie (33) is the youngest daughter of Prince Andrew (63) and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson (64). As the granddaughter of the late Queen Elizabeth II (✝96), the British woman grew up as a royal and had to adhere to the associated etiquette from a very early age. Her grandmother wasn’t the only one making rules. Eugenie revealed that mom Sarah had their own rules of etiquette.
In the “Table Manners” podcast, Prince William’s cousin (41) revealed that Sarah had demanded manners from her daughters. “When I would raise my knees at the table, my mother would say, ‘Are you invited to lunch? Are you invited to dinner?'” she recalled. Although Eugenie is now an adult and has her own family, that applies to Sarah still the same motto. “Now when we’re on vacation or when my friends are over and they put their knees up, my mom says, ‘Put your knees down!'” the 33-year-old added.
In the podcast, the mother of two also said that she and her husband Jack Brooksbank (37) had food delivered to Kensington Palace. The couple personally received the delivery. “And then we went downstairs in our pajamas to receive the food,” Eugenie revealed.
