That bodes well!
At Glamial we love our queens, and that of course includes drag queens. We are therefore very much looking forward to the second edition of the European Drag Championships, which will take place in Amsterdam this summer.
European Drag Championships
The Dutch Drag Dynasty has just announced the second edition of the European Drag Championships. This year the championships will take place in Amsterdam and a panel with none other than Nikkie de Jager, Rikkie Kollé, Vanessa van Cartier and Carolina Dijkhuizen will judge the participants.
The second edition of the European Drag Championships will take place at The Harborclub Theater in Amsterdam on June 14, with the evening’s highlight being the Queen of the North Continental Miss pageant. This year, nine drag queens from eight different countries will compete for this coveted title. The winner will not only walk away with the crown, but will also represent Europe at the World Drag Championships in Chicago in September. How cool!

Panel
The participants are of course judged by a panel full of experts. In addition to Vanessa, Nikkie, and Carolina, Zahné Wilson, Tim Küsters and Noel Anaya are also part of the jury.
They have the tough task of crowning a winner from a list of talented participants. The contenders are:
– Paola Hoffmann (Italy)
– Angel Wings (Curaçao and the Netherlands)
– Miss Peaches (Scotland and United Kingdom)
– Janey Jacké (Netherlands)
– My Little Puny (Netherlands)
– Miss Nyongbella (Cameroon and United Kingdom)
– Laryn Gitis (Ireland)
– Paloma Lust (Malaysia and Netherlands)
– The only Latex (Scotland and United Kingdom)
Some names here may seem familiar to you. For example, Janey Jacké can currently be seen as a jury member in Make Up Your Mind, and, like My Little Puny, she has already scored highly in the show Drag Race Holland. That bodes very well, nun?
Are you unable to attend? No worries. The event will be broadcast live in ten countries in Europe. So you can still enjoy the performances on stage from your own living room.
