The new season of B&B Vol Liefde is still far ahead of us, but it has now somewhat started. Fans have already met the participants in B&B Vol Liefde: De Aftrap. And there are a number of them, which we hope will be filled in the summer of 2024! We introduce the contenders to you.
Participants of B&B Vol Liefde 2024: these are contenders
The previous season of B&B Vol Liefde is mainly remembered because of the many special B&B owners. We will therefore not soon forget that season. Although there is a good chance that the participants of B&B Vol Liefde 2024 will certainly take the shine. On Thursday evening, December 14, eleven new participants were introduced in B&B Vol Liefde: De Afkick by presenter Art Rooijakkers. And some B&B owners immediately catch the viewers’ attention! Unfortunately, not all eleven participants will be followed next summer. Ultimately, only eight of the participants will actually look for love.
1. Iris (57)
First of all, we introduce 57-year-old Iris to you. She takes the B&B Vol Liefde viewers to Greece for the first time, and to the town of Sparto to be precise. There is her beautiful Bed & Breakfast in the typical Greek colors: blue and white. According to Iris, guests often compare her to Donna from Mamma Mia! and we get that. Just like Donna, Iris is also very independent. Since 2021, she has been running the three apartments on the coast on her own. She also loves parties, which Donna also has in common. But no worries, she’s not looking for a Pierce Brosnan. As long as he is a sweet, humorous and travel-loving man. Oh, and a man who likes to sail with her. That, according to her, is the perfect date: sailing on a sailboat with a snack and cold wine.
2. Albert (63)
The next participant looks a bit like Leendert from the previous season. He does seem a lot more social. 63-year-old Albert is no longer the youngest, but he really wants to fall in love one more time. Aww! He is not very picky, as long as his future partner is kind to his two children aged 5 and 7. Although he hopes that the woman is also sporty, intelligent, warm and calm. Then he drags her straight into the bridal suite, according to Albert in B&B Vol Liefde: De Kick-off. As a guest you will end up in a large castle in Spain, which dates from the 14th century. At the time, he and his ex-wife turned it into a large hotel. And it is truly impressive with 57 rooms, two restaurants and two swimming pools. Such a luxury! No wonder it is also a popular wedding venue for the rich and famous.
3. Henriette (61)
Speaking of rich and famous: the posh Henriette, 61 years old, lives in Italy, where she runs a Bed & Breakfast. She has lived in Italy for over forty years. In her twenties she once fell in love with a charming Italian, whom she also married. At the time she lived with him in a house in Cesarolo, near Venice, but then they divorced. Henriette kept the house and turned the beautiful country house into a beautiful B&B. She has been single for six years now and that is why it is time for a new love in her life. Through B&B Vol Liefde she hopes to find a new buddy who she can always fall back on.
4. Roland (59)
59-year-old Roland once ran a Bed & Breakfast in Hungary, but it was sold after a few years. He then bought a beautiful “hut on the heath” to live completely off-grid. Yep, Roland is a tough guy and loves nature. Freedom is simply the most important thing in his life. Although he does want to build a new luxury paradise with multiple guesthouses. And in the meantime, he is looking for a new partner who fits into his current life. After three broken marriages, he now hopes for a young, social woman who is vivacious, sporty, passionate and impulsive. “It really has to be a good car, and a very nice car,” he says in B&B Vol Liefde: De Kick-off.
5. Robert Jan (57)
If you are attracted to 57-year-old Robert Jan, you will have to settle for a busy man. He not only hosts his Bed & Breakfast, but also organizes day trips for guests. And he is certainly busy with that! The guests sleep in his house or in one of the castles around it. They can then join him on a day trip where they can go golfing, fishing, hunting and hiking. He also organizes chic dinners, bagpipe performances and whiskey tastings. Robert Jan likes to give guests the real, rugged Scotland experience. His new partner must certainly be able to deal with everything. He is looking for someone who accepts him as he is and understands his world and lifestyle. In addition, a woman must also be energetic, intelligent and have a positive outlook on life.
6. Mirjam (52)
Just like last year, the makers of B&B Vol Liefde are also going outside Europe for a B&B owner. For example, 52-year-old Mirjam runs a guesthouse in South Africa. It is a luxury safari lodge with four safari tents in the middle of the bush. Sounds adventurous, but that also suits Mirjam herself. The busy B&B owner is looking for a man who loves adventure just like her. Does he have beautiful eyes and is he a bit worldly? Then he can definitely go on safari. Mirjam has a marriage and two sons, who are now studying in the Netherlands. So she could use a buddy. One that is not shocked by a spontaneous elephant on the road.
7. Thijz (64)
In a wooded area in France we find 64-year-old Thijz: a man with his heart on his sleeve. He is an artistic man who runs a small campsite in Saint-Geniez-ô-Merle. He then lives nearby, namely in the nearby water mill. The campsite is located in a very quiet area. “All you hear is the sound of a river and birds,” says Thijz in B&B Vol Liefde: De Kick-off. He is really very creative. He not only makes art, but is also an inventor. At his campsite he can give free rein to his creativity. He is looking for a woman who is of course also creative, just like him. In addition, she must be sweet and want to run the campsite with him. He also hopes for a confident woman who is open to the spiritual (or shall we say ‘spiruwele’?). She can be a bit alternative.
8. Anja (70)
Then we have 70-year-old Anja, a rather spirited lady with a Bed & Breakfast in France. We see this in B&B Vol Liefde: De Afkick, in which she sometimes makes rather striking comments. For example, Art asks how she stays so fit, to which she responds: “By doing the ‘Omroep Max-old-dick-gym’ every morning during the week!” In the meantime, she is looking for an independent man who also leads a life of his own. Actually a kind of sailor. As long as he always comes home to Anja and her animals, which he also has to love. They can then have an in-depth conversation, which Anja loves. So he should not be afraid of this. But thanks to Anja’s warm character, everything will turn out fine! She still runs a B&B, but has slowed down a few years ago. She only owns a house with two guest rooms. Because of this restored peace, she now misses a buddy in her life. She hopes to find that during B&B Vol Liefde.

9. Arno (46)
In France we also find 46-year-old Arno, who has been working on his French dream for a year. His new place to live in France is already becoming quite cozy and he now has a nice social life. However, something is still missing: a nice man. He is especially looking for a sociable, enterprising and tough person, who is fit and healthy and wants to embark on the (love) adventure with him. He is currently still busy with his Bed & Breakfast. One guest room is completely ready, but three more gites will be added. Arno likes to do odd jobs, although he also spends a lot of time outside with his two dogs Louise and Lucas. He can hardly sit still anyway.
10. Suzanne (58)
France appears to be the place to be this season, because 58-year-old Suzanne has also chosen the French landscape. She is a special case this season. We bet she will definitely be followed next summer! Suzanne has been the co-owner of naturist campsite Le Couderc for eleven years. However, she still lives and works here and not alone. Her sister, among others, lives at the campsite, but also her ex-husband (and the father of her two children). OMG! B&B Vol Liefde fans on social media are already anticipating problems because they are getting flashbacks to Hans and Libera… Let’s hope that Suzanne’s love adventure goes better. Although Suzanne doesn’t think her ex will interfere. She is not looking for a man who has experience as a naturist. He must be open to this, but don’t worry: you can also wear a sarong. As long as someone can push her back and also be good on her own. In the meantime, Suzanne is busy in her studio on the quiet campsite, where guests relax naked under the French sun.
Next candidate for #ambfulllove is Suzanne and she has a naturist campsite, a nice successor next summer to the spiritual yurt of last season. Extra bonus, her ex still lives there too.

11. Mike (35)
Finally, we have 35-year-old Mike with his surfer look in the Spanish seaside resort of Blanes. He certainly hasn’t stood still in the dating circuit. For example, he dated for years via dating apps and got into relationships with Spanish ladies. Only now he wants to go for a Dutch woman, because he thinks it suits him better in terms of humor and sociability. He also often finds Dutch ladies more independent and open. He hopes to find a sporty, social and enterprising woman who also loves animals. Mike has a dog Kaos himself, which he loves. If all this is correct, then you are perfect for the sporty, confident, romantic, sensitive Mike. He is also a real family man. He has a strong bond with his parents. He also runs a water sports company with his father and cousin. And he also rents out a farm himself as a Bed & Breakfast. He also lives there in a loft.
