It was exactly eighteen years ago that the Princess of Asturias, the eldest daughter of King Felipe and Queen Letizia, was born. They celebrated this with a solemn ceremony in which the princess swore allegiance to the Spanish constitution, a set of awards for the young heir to the throne, a lunch with politicians and prominent figures, and a military parade.
Between all those ceremonies, it was above all a day full of sweet family moments between the proud parents and their adult daughter. And one of them even went viral! When putting on some awards, Leonor’s tail got stuck under her medals, and that of course could not have been the intention.
