All or nothing after The Bachelor
In the last episode of The Bachelor we saw how Paul declared his love for Josephine. The chemistry was unmistakable, but after their return that magical spark turned out to be something different. “We dated for another month in the Netherlands, but at home I thought it felt a bit different than in Zanzibar,” Josephine admits. “I wanted to take it easy in the Netherlands and just see where things would go, but Paul had a different view. He wanted all or nothing. And I couldn’t give him everything.”
‘What we had was real’
Josephine found it difficult to deal with viewers’ expectations. “I found that really difficult. We had only had three dates, one of which was a group date. I have never been in love with Paul,” she says. “People sometimes think I was in it for the fame, but what we had was real.”
Second choice
During the reunion the story got another plot twist. Paul decided to date runner-up Eline. Unfortunately, that did not result in a relationship either. “During the reunion I called Eline ‘second choice’, but so much was cut. The whole context was lost,” Josephine explains. “And then I got so much hate. I found that so frustrating. That’s why I don’t think I will participate in another reality program anytime soon.”
Josephine has a new love
But there is good news! Josephine is now dating again. “So it’s not someone I was in contact with before the program,” she reveals. “After The Bachelor I was done with men and dating for a while, but then something nice came my way. I knew him from high school, but we have never dated before. It is not yet a serious relationship, but we are taking it easy On.” Super fun, right?
