There’s a new addition to the German TV landscape! The comedians Ralf Schmitz (49) and Chris Tall (32) get their own show. Ralf recently started a new format with “Rate my Date” and Chris has also been there everywhere from Take Me Out to Schlag den Star. In “Who eats?” The two now become hobby detectives. The guessing fun is moderated by Steven Gätjen (51). That’s what the show is about!
As ProSieben reveals, it’s a mystery Ralph and Chris for the bet. Both are given a celebrity per issue, with whom they have to work as a team to find out about unknown people. The aim of the show is to guess facts about the contestant based solely on their appearance – this can be anything from their profession to quirky traits. Whoever plays better gets their audience more prize money. It should start in spring.
However, the format is only new in Germany. The show is already running successfully on TV in France under the title “Visual Suspect”. The inspiration comes from James Corden’s (45) “The Late Late Show”. The presenter ended his successful US late night show last year.
