This week it is spring break for a large part of the country and next week it will be the turn of the rest of the country. Do you have time off this week or are the kids off from school? These are the best activities to do during spring break.
Go to a museum
Visiting a museum can be a very fun and relaxing activity. It’s perfect for spring break as far as we’re concerned. There are beautiful museums everywhere in the country for every interest and art style. There are also a lot of fun museums for the kids where they can have fun while learning something new. Think of the Railway Museum or NEMO Science Museum.

Take a walk in the woods
Would you like to get some fresh air? Then take a relaxing walk in the woods. This is fun to do on your own to clear your head. But of course you can also go into the woods with a friend, your partner and your kids. If you have children along, you can turn it into a treasure hunt. This is an extra fun outing if you have a dog!
Do an escape room
Do you and your friends want to put your friendship to the test this spring break? Then go to an escape room. These come in all different types and levels. So there is a suitable escape room for everyone. Think of escape rooms with a horror element, or a super child-friendly room. Whatever the composition of your group, this activity is always suitable.
Play the tourist in your own country
You don’t have to go on holiday to be a tourist. This spring break, visit a Dutch city you’ve never been to, or a city you already know, and play the tourist role. Go to all the tourist attractions and be amazed by all the beautiful things our country has to offer. It will surprise you how much you have never seen in our small country.
Go to the zoo or an aquarium
In our opinion, looking at beautiful animals is always a fun activity to undertake. Go alone, with your bestie, your partner or the kids to one of the many zoos in our country. Would you rather stay indoors? Then an aquarium is also a very nice option. Visiting an aquarium is super educational but also relaxing.
