Fortunately, Nicole has plenty of other qualities.
Nicole Kidman has been in Hollywood for quite a few years and of course knows better than anyone how to be in front of the camera. However, a career behind the scenes is not possible for the Australian actress, she reveals to The Hollywood Reporter.
Together on the red carpet
Nicole Kidman was honored last weekend during the presentation of the AFI Life Achievement Award, a lifetime achievement award from the American film institute AFI. Together with her husband Keith Urban and her two teenage daughters Sunday and Faith, the actress made her appearance at the event in a beautiful gold dress.

Moved
When Nicole was presented with the prestigious award, she said she was moved by the recognition. “I have had a lot of luck in my life, and the most important thing is love. Tonight my greatest loves are present at a public occasion for the first time. My daughters have never appeared on the red carpet with me before, so tonight was a special first that I am grateful for.”
Bad director
Nicole revealed to The Hollywood Reporter that a career as a director is not in the cards for her. “I think I would be a terrible director, because I always have so many ideas. A director has to make choices and that is not my strong point,” she says. She says her qualities lie in other areas. “I am very passionate and can provide support to others,” she says. “I can read a script and say I love it, or think a colleague is doing a good job and figure out how I can support them. Maybe they haven’t done anything in this industry before, but I support them. I like doing that, it makes me enthusiastic and that makes me very happy. I prefer to put others in the spotlight.”
