Skincare expert and beautician Renée Rouleau talks to Flair and explains that people who wash their face every morning really don’t have to change their skincare routine. However, people with dry or sensitive skin should skip the cleanser in the morning. A little water is sufficient for these people.
There are exceptions, however. For example, do you apply many different products before going to sleep? Then it is better to clean your face in the morning with a mild face wash. So it is not necessary to use products such as cleansing oil or micellar water in the morning. This can actually only cause your face to dry out. Water and a mild face wash are more than sufficient according to Renée.
