Attention glamor cats! Are you always the first to know about beauty tips, fashion trends and glamor news? Are you a real wordsmith and do you know everything about social media? Then we have very good news: Glamial is looking for new online editorial colleagues!
A day in the newsroom
What exactly do you do as a web editor at Glamial? Well: write! A lot of writing. Glamial writes about everything glamour, so on an average day you go from the designer looks of Princess Charlene of Monaco and special facts about our Oranges, to the best hairstyle tips or fashion hacks – always with a healthy dose of sass.
Do you immediately think of The Devil Wears Prada scenes? It’s not necessary. The online editorial staff of Glamial may sit next to the editorial staff of Grazia, Marie Claire, Happy in Shape, Nouveau, Noorderland, Elegance and Upcoming, but there is certainly no rivalry. We prefer to tip each other off about scoops to pick up and update each other on new developments in the field of social media.
Every day we tap together to post stimulating content on BeauMonde.nl and keep ourselves busy with Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok and YouTube. We keep a close eye on Google Analytics and we get inspiration for articles from Google Discover, among others.
Although we all work hard every day, we think it is just as important to have fun. We are happy to have a chat in between and while enjoying a cup of good Americano we can talk each other’s ears off – from the glamor of Monaco to homegrown reality shows.
Extra fun: if possible, we stand along the red carpet at all kinds of glamorous events to interview Dutch celebrities and celebs, or we are active behind the scenes at photo shoots for our beautiful magazine.

Who are you?
- You have a HBO or university education;
- You are enthusiastic, eager to learn and proactive;
- You have the drive to write articles that are widely read;
- You have an eye for current events and are always looking for new perspectives;
- You have a fluent pen and have a perfect command of the Dutch language;
- You can read and translate English;
- You are handy and creative with social media;
- You are a hard worker (but also enjoy a chat with colleagues in between);
- You are willing to work occasionally on weekends and evenings (you can compensate for these hours during the week);
- You live in (the vicinity of) Groningen.
